for 1920, with 6in. barrel, sighted slide marked 'AUTOMATIC COLT CALIBRE 38 RIMLESS SMOKELESS' and 'MODEL 1902', the left hand side marked 'BROWNING'S PATENT, PAT'D APRIL 20, 1897, SEPTEMBER 9, 1902' and 'COLTS PATENT FIRE ARMS MFG. CO. HARTFORD CT. USA' together with the 'rampant horse' trademark, full-length frame with external hammer, chequered hard-rubber grips embossed with 'COLT' and the 'rampant horse' trademark, lanyard swivel to left hand side of grip-base, blued magazine (unmarked), the whole with a fair amount of original blued finish
